Job Title: Registered Nurse, Pediatric Emergency Room Profession: RN Specialty: ER Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years License: RN (Compact Accepted) Certifications: PALS; BLS; CERT-Crisis Prevention Intervention Must-Have: - Pediatric ER experience: 2 years - CPI Blue Card - Triage experience - TNCC - ACLS Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Pediatric Emergency Room. Experience in a fast-paced environment is required. Candidates must possess a valid RN license and relevant certifications. The role includes managing various pediatric emergencies such as asthma, diabetic ketoacidosis, and fever in neonates. The nurse will participate in special procedures including moderate sedation and respiratory support. The position involves administering blood products and monitoring critical conditions. The nurse will work as part of a team, coordinating care with ancillary staff including techs and LPNs. In this role, the nurse will maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4. Candidates must be proficient in accessing and providing care for central lines and various medical devices. Critical care experience in pediatrics is essential for the successful candidate. The role will also involve medical-surgical care in diverse areas including general, hematology/oncology, and trauma. About Cynet Health
