Job Title

Registered Nurse – Women's Services (Labor & Delivery / Mother-Baby / Peds / GYN)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week | Every 3rd weekend | No call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby, Antepartum, Postpartum, GYN, and Pediatrics patient populations
• Operate Philips fetal monitoring systems with OB Trave Vue in accordance with unit protocols
• Manage patient assignments based on acuity ratios across a unit consisting of LDR, Triage, Antepartum, and Postpartum/GYN/Peds beds
• Document patient care accurately using the MediTech EHR system
• Float to other areas as required by unit needs
• Demonstrate charge nurse competency as needed within the Women's Services department

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure valid in North Carolina (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby, Peds, and/or GYN
• Required certifications prior to start: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
• Charge nurse experience required
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of Women's Services experience with charge nurse responsibilities
• Familiarity with Philips fetal monitoring technology and OB Trave Vue
• Prior experience with MediTech EHR
